  • nathanbates I must sound like a broken record now but i think is fascinating how much of Howard’s character needs be tweaked if he were played by anyone other than Sandler. So much of our empathy for him is wrapped up in frustration as well. Downey might be too slick. Too charismatic. Not able to convey sufficient desperation. But it’s fun to think about it.
