The Vital Enhancement Nanomolecular Organic Medicine (or V.E.N.O.M. for short) was a synthetic protoplasmic suit originally created by scientists Ray Parker and Edward Brock Sr. in order to find a potential cure for cancer and other incurable diseases. However Edward was more interested in the military capabilities of the "suit" and once it was taken by Trask Industries, the suit was separated in both parts, one that was bond with Peter Parker which he later destroy and another with Eddie Brock Jr. that he used to become one of Spider-Man's greatest enemies: Venom.
