Description of Tally Youngblood (Tally-wa):
Everyone has that one series that they want brought to life, and everyone (actors included) have people they don't like to watch on screen. I'm excited for Joey King, but she is not who I would have liked to see in the film adaptation. I'm really not a fan of her work, which doesn't mean she's good or bad at acting; I'm just not a fan of hers by any means. As of 10/15/2020 1200 EST, we don't know that she plays Tally- but rather that she is "starring" in Uglies. I think Shay would be a "co-starring" role, so my assumption is she'll be taking on Tally's role. Time will tell.
