True North is a Canadian family drama about a married couple living in Montreal. Ray and Cat are high school sweethearts. The happy couple becomes unbelievably miserable after finding out that they can't have kid's. One day Cat was on her way home from work when she spotted 4 kids sitting on the sidewalk. 4 kids wearing old raggedy clothes. One of the kids was a 16 year old boy he walked up to her car. Cat rolled down her window scared for her life. The boy said do you have 10 dollars? Cat takees one look at him as the tears begin to fall from his eyes she takes a look at his 3 siblings. She takes a deep breathe and says I want you and your sisters and your brother to come with me I'm taking you to my place.
