Sommers chose Simon Bird as Chip Chase since he was impressed by his role of Will McKensize from the British Comedy The Inbetweeners, and Simon Bird himself Was also Keen to join my Major Film Production, He started filming Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Immediatly after Filming of the The Second Series of the Inbetweeners Wrapped.
