Batman's arc would be similar to how it is in the B&R we got with him learning how to let go, but more refined. He'd still be protective of Robin and wary of letting the Boy Wonder set out on his own, feeling as if he isn't ready. This is further amplified when Alfred falls ill, causing Batman to become overly protective as a way as not to loose the family he had just rebuilt in the previous film. By the film's end, Batman learns how to let go, due to seeing how the same type of grief and fear affected Freeze
