By early 2026, Adam Wingard’s ThunderCats movie is moving full steam ahead, though the role of Lion-O is still up for grabs. Wingard and co-writer Simon Barrett are making the project a top priority, fine-tuning the script to stay “100% true” to the beloved 1980s vibe.
