Red Hulk assembles the corrupt Thunderbolts because he believes that they are the best candidates to carry out dangerous missions and protect the world from powerful threats. The Punisher is recruited and struggles with his own inner demons and the morality of his actions. He clashes with other members of the team and is ultimately forced to go against them
