Ben was an assassin of the Assassin's Guild and Arobynn Hamel's Second-in-Command. He was known for his loud, anecdotal jokes. Five years younger than Arobynn, Ben grew up and trained alongside the future King of Assassins, aiding his rise to power and becoming his unflinchingly loyal Second-in-Command. At the Assassin's Keep, Ben trained many of the younger assassins, including Celaena Sardothien, in addition to mending and setting various injuries.
