This is for a screenplay I'm writing.
“The Ones That Wait In The Dark” follows a young anthropologist, Dr. Rowan Stone, who is drawn to a remote Navajo reservation in the American Southwest. Intrigued by local legends of terrifying shape-shifting creatures known as skinwalkers, he embarks on a research project to uncover the truth behind these dark myths. As Rowan delves deeper into the community, he encounters a series of unexplained and increasingly violent events. Livestock and Humans are found mutilated, strange noises echo through the night, and eerie shadows seem to lurk in the Periphery. The locals whisper of a malevolent force, a skinwalker, that has been awakened and is wreaking havoc upon the land and its people. Rowan, skeptical at first, begins to question his sanity as he witnesses bizarre occurrences firsthand.
