Story Plot

Synopsis: Thor has been on the throne for several months now. He has ruled better than Loki did, but he still has a lot to learn. His decisions are usually not the wisest, but he gets help from his father and Jane Foster who has moved in with Thor at Asgard. At the same time as Thor has been sitting on the throne, a jealous Loki has sat in the shadows and forged a plan together with Thanos on how to destroy Thor and rule the country together. But that's not the only reason Thanos helps Loki, he has been told that the Tesseract has once again returned to Asgard. One day, the three warriors announce that a tall and powerful woman has terrorized, plundered and destroyed large parts of Midgard and is probably on her way into Asgard. This makes Thor anxious and thoughtful and he decides to have a chat with Odin. He asks his father if he knows who this powerful woman is, and Odin explains everything he knows. He explains that this is his power-hungry sister Hela who he expelled and banished from Asgard centuries ago. She had been trying to get into the kingdom ever since, and now it seems she's succeeded. Thor thanks for the info, and just as he is about to leave, Odin says "The Ragnarok has begun!”.

  • A stressed Thor informs Heimdall, Sif and the warriors what is happening, and he asks them to evacuate Asgard. Thor travels to check that Hela has not entered Asgard, but he discovers that the guards protecting the entrance are dead. Thor hurries back and tells his people that they must evacuate. At that moment the sky is filled with black clouds with green lightnings, and Hela arrives. Thor yells at the Asgardians to escape, but Hela still manages to take many Asgardians' lives. Hela causes chaos and destroys almost the entire kingdom. Thor and Heimdall, Sif and the warriors stand up to Hela and they start fighting, but Hela is too strong. She kills Fandral, Volstagg and Hogun and leaves Heimdall and Sif unconscious. A severely injured Thor is the only one left, and even with his hammer in his possession, he is defeated by Hela. Suddenly, Hela is shot by a ray from nowhere. Loki fires another beam from his staff, and at the top is the Tesseract that Loki had stolen during the battle. He fires two more shots as he approaches Hela. She gets to her feet again, but she does not have time to do anything before Loki stabs her, and she falls lifelessly to the ground. Loki helps Thor to his feet, and the two brothers shake hands. Mid credit scene: Thor returns to Odin to check on him, but to his shock he finds Odin dead in his own house. Thor approaches him and sees that he has been stabbed and that his whole house is messy. He immediately links this incident to the fact that Loki has stolen Tesseract. Thor falls to his knees and screams in grief. That same evening, he returns home to Jane, who assures him that Loki will have to pay for what he has done. Post credit scene: An enraged Frank Castle chases a drug dealer all over New York, all because he sold drugs to his 15-year-old daughter.
