  • biggord Bobby Drake, who has not really learned to control his powers, is worried that he will ruin the mission. Warren Worthington III does not care and thinks the plan is ridiculous. Scott's girlfriend, Jean Grey, is just like Bobby worried that the plan won’t work. Charles, who has heard his students' arguing, decides to let Erik follow the assignment for safety reasons, but also to find out if Erik is planning something. Under Erik's command, they travel to Trask's luxurious mansion. Scott leads the team into the building and urges the people in the house to evacuate. Scott asks Warren to get Trask out of the building but when he enters Trask's office he discovers a man with a knife around Trask's neck. The man turns into Mystique who warns Warren that she will kill Trask if he gets closer. Warren grins and attacks the shapeshifting mutant. The battle is short and Mystique easily defeats Warren. Bobby, who heard the fight, informs Scott that something has happened and the team hurries to Trask's room. Jean screams as they enter the room and sees a bleeding Warren on the floor. Scott quickly fires an optical blast at Mystique and asks Bobby to freeze Mystique's arm. He does as their leader says and freezes one of her arms against the wall. Jean enters Mystique's brain with the help of her telekinetic powers and prevents Mystique from killing Trask. Mystique screams in pain, bashing Erik for betraying her. Scott looks questioningly at Erik who starts tearing down lights from the ceiling only to slow down the team. He takes Mystique's knife with the help of his magnetic powers and kills Trask. He asks Scott to apologize to Charles before he rescues Mystique and flies away. mid credit scene: The team returns to the X-Mansion with the dying Warren.
