Fan Casting Graves in The Wren in the Holly Library

Graves is an ancient, immensely powerful warlock. He is The Holly King. He is the seasonal counterpart to his warlock brother and rival, Lorcan, who serves as the Oak King. He is wealthy, shadowy, dangerous, and carries a terrifying amount of dark magical authority. Despite his monster status, he strictly maintains order within his grand Victorian estate in New York City. “Little wren, I am a monster. A monster in a suit, but one with claws nonetheless.” “He had a British accent… He took a step into the light, his body framed by the clothes library doors. His pale face was all sharp angles hard edges, and dark shadows. His cheekbones were high and cut out of marble while his eyes were carefully surrounded in the darkness. He had hair as dark as pitch so dark, it was nearly blended in the surroundings” “He just smirked a legally stunning killer. Now in the light she could see that his hair had a tinge of midnight blue. His eyes weren’t hopeless, dark orbs As she had believed. They were swirling gray as temperamental as the weather and as fatal as standing in the ocean in the middle of a hurricane.” “He moved with the grace developed from years and years, even though he only looked about 25 same as her.”
