The classroom phone rings, and the Wonder Pets—Linny, Tuck, and Ming Ming—receive a heartbreaking distress call from Central Park in New York City. A gentle, completely harmless crocodile named Lyle has been unjustly imprisoned in a cold, grassy area surrounded by an electric fence. Cruel humans have wrongfully labeled him a "Danger: Mad Crocodile," leaving him sad, lonely, and too frightened to escape. The Wonder Pets quickly assemble their Flyboat and head to the big city. When they arrive, they discover that Lyle cannot speak; instead, he communicates his sorrow entirely through beautiful, emotional singing. Using teamwork, the Wonder Pets figure out a safe way to bypass the electric fence and comfort the timid reptile. Just as they successfully free him, a kind human named Hector P. Valenti arrives to warmly reunite with Lyle and protect him from further harm. After celebrating with a celery snack, the Wonder Pets fly back to their classroom.
