The Willoughbys Return (2026)
Nearly a year after the near-death experience towards the end of first film, the four Willoughby siblings-Tim, Jane, Barnaby A, and Barnaby B-have all been adopted by the joyous candy-maker Commander Melanoff and the eccentric babysitter Linda, who is also known as "The Nanny". Since then, the Willoughbys have been living the life they hoped for, and several amazing things have happened to them as a result, such as Jane starting a singing career and dating an aspiring rock star named Derek Ray Cyrus. While having breakfast one morning, Melanoff announces that he will be retiring from making candy and is going to hand over the entire factory and all its inner workings to the Willoughbys. During their first day making their own candy, the candy-making machines go overboard, causing their creations to mutate, which includes the creation of a gigantic fudge monster called "Fudgeia". As a result of becoming mutated, Fudgeia and the candy monsters decide to take over the world. The Willoughbys will have to do whatever they can to stop the mutated candy from conquering the world and covering it in a sweet coating. Meanwhile, their biological parents Walter "Father" and Helga "Mother" have escaped the inside of the shark that ate them and are returning to land in hopes of reuniting themselves with their children and potentially doing something about their family relationships.
