While Napoleon was fighting and becoming popular in Europe events were taking place across the Atlantic Ocean and this event was the war of 1812 which saw fighting raging from the gulf coast in the south to the Canadian U.S border in the north and from The east coast of the United States in the east to the west coast in the west.
