Synopsis

"Days Gone Bye" begins the story of Rick Grimes, a sheriff's deputy from Kentucky, who is wounded in action and emerges from a coma to find the world plagued by the undead. Upon returning home, he finds his house ransacked and his wife and son gone. Rick travels to a military evacuation zone in Atlanta to find his family and joins a small group of survivors along the way, all the while trying to adapt to life in this new world.

  • tylerhamilton Not much is known about Sophia's life prior to or as the outbreak began. She was born to her father Ed and mother Carol. She presumably lived a normal life; she was frequently doted upon by her mother. As the outbreak occurred, she lost Ed to suicide and was in the process of being driven to her aunt's house in Atlanta.

  • tylerhamilton Sophia & Carol could not make it into the city, so they wound up staying at Dale's camp that he, Andrea and Amy had set up. Also at the camp was a man named Glenn and a family of four with twin sons that were slightly younger than her. Sophia spent most of her time at the camp playing with the boys, Billy & Ben, until a woman named Lori Grimes and a man named Shane (who would eventually lead the camp) would show up with Lori's son. Sophia made friends with Carl Grimes, eventually developing an innocent crush on him, and survived the zombie attack that took Amy & Jim's life.
