When her father Shigeru dies from a terminal illness, Rin Suzumura must use her tablet in order to prevent anxiety from taking over her body. But then her friend Yoshie Izumi visits her to give her a gift, only for them to encounter Milan Carter, a young adult diagnosed with depression, and later the magnum god Sarkissian. On Sarkissian's side, Rin and Yoshie encounter Tuxedo Everton, Nick O'Teen, Dotty, Scribbles, and Chained Alice along the dada way.
