After an Alien attack that resulted in the death of his mother, Jacob Aoyama has been recruited to the SSSP (Science Special Search Party), an organization founded by the UN to solve and prevent Monster or Alien attacks. During an investigation, Jacob is hit with a red orb and is fused with an extraterrestrial being. It is at the same time when Monster attacks become more frequent. With the Beta Capsule, Jacob can transform into the red and silver giant, Ultraman.
