A man who never ages Fred Lesley is hell bent on getting rid of his immortality finds out the only thing that can get rid of this curse is destroying the thing that gave it to him aka the elemental stone of life sent from the creation of the multiverse. After centuries of trying to destroy it, Fred finds the lightning bolt of Zeus but has to fight its protector Hermes and when he finally gets the bolt and destroys the stone it sends out a shockwave getting rid of his immortality but also sending Hermes's powers to Fred. Now in present day Fred is a superhero with superspeed and he calls himself Hermes.
