A biopic on Tommy Morrison who was an American professional boxer who competed from 1988 to 1996, and held the WBO heavyweight title in 1993. Tommy would have legendary bouts against icons such as George Foreman and Lennox Lewis and would also be showcased in film as he portrayed Tommy Gunn alongside Sylvester Stallone in Rocky V. However his promising boxing career was cut short In 1996, Morrison was scheduled to fight against Arthur Weathers. The Nevada Athletic Commission determined that Morrison had tested positive for HIV. He would then go on a downward spiral facing legal troubles and the deadly disease. After many failed comeback attempts Morrison would tragically pass away On September 1, 2013 at the age of 44 after developing full blown aids.
