Eva Gaëlle Green (born July 6, 1980) is a French-American actress and model. She started her career in theatre before making her film debut in 2003 in Bernardo Bertolucci's controversial “The Dreamers.” She achieved international recognition when she appeared in Ridley Scott's “Kingdom of Heaven” (2005) and portrayed Vesper Lynd in the James Bond film “Casino Royale” (2006). That same year, Green was awarded the BAFTA Rising Star Award.
A serie or movie based on the historical event called "The Third Crusade", also know as "The Crusade of The Kings", was an attempt by European leaders to reconquer the Holy Land from Salah ad-Din Yusuf ibn Ayyub. It was a partial success, but it did not reach its ultimate goal: the conquest of Jerusalem.
