Story Plot
After the events of Outpost 31, R.J. MacReady, after losing Childs, survives the harsh Antarctic wastes, unknown to him that the shape shifting alien freak of nature, The Thing, is still alive and possibly after him as he tries to find a way to destroy it once and for all before it assimilates all life on earth... and he eventually finds another Outpost to help him out.
