Remake
A remake of the classic 1934 movie. Retired private detective Nick Charles and his wife Nora become wrapped up in a case involving the missing inventor Clyde Wynant. Wynant's daughter Dorothy approaches Charles because he had worked for her father in the past. While he is hesitant to get involved, he and his wife become entangled in the mystery.
