Description of Zandri Hicks:

Zandri is one of the three students accompanying Cia to the Testing. Beautiful and artistic, she shows a defiant streak against the strictness of the United Commonwealth proceedings from the beginning. Although some minor tension develops between her and Cia in the beginning, they soon find themselves united by a common cause and make amends. When the fourth phase of the Testing comes to a conclusion and Zandri is not among those who have passed, Cia becomes suspicious concerning the circumstances of her failure....
