Mostly known through her passive supporting roles in Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children and Infinite, Raffiella recently got the chance to showcase her acting talents in the leading role of the low-budget sci-fi film Vesper (2022), which is the primary reason why I casted her as Miranda. Not only is she the right age to play her and bares a striking physical resemblance to Ralph Fiennes, the actor playing her father, but she would also be able to portray Miranda’s innocence and empathy when she confronts Prospero about the shipwrecked crew presumed to be dead and when she builds a genuine bond with her arranged suitor Ferdinand!
