Katharina is the elder daughter of Baptista and the sister of gentle Bianca. Known for her fits of rage and violence, Katharina has never had a single suitor...and she likes it that way! As far as she is concerned, any man interested in her had better stay out of the way unless he wants his head smashed. So when brash and obnoxious Petruchio shows up, begging for her hand in marriage, she's not sure whether to be flabbergasted or furious!
