Warren, a geneticist with a penchant for cloning, has unleashed a wave of doppelgängers upon the city, creating exact replicas of Peter Parker and Miles Morales. Among them are the tormented Doppleganger, the enigmatic Ben Reilly, and the scarred and reclusive Kaine, each harboring their own motives and secrets. Meanwhile, Miles Morales clone, Selim, adds a new layer of complexity to the twisted web.
