Post Credit Scene: The climax of the story is a battle between Steve and Red Skull on a crashing plane. Steve has to make an urgent decision, either save his life or save thousands of other lives. He chooses the latter and crashes the plane into the water, which seemingly kills the American hero. He gets frozen into an iceberg where he miraculously managed to survive for over 75 years due to the super-soldier serums extraordinary powers. The block of ice is decades later found by S.H.I.E.L.D, and once melted down, the director of S.H.I.E.L.D Nick Fury offers him a spot a team of superheroes he's trying to build.
