Bowling Alley Technician / Floor Attendant Mateo grew up in Aurora, Colorado, in a close-knit working-class family. His parents emphasized reliability, humility, and treating people with respect. He attended community college but never completed a four-year degree. After trying several jobs, he found work at Lucky Strike Lanes and unexpectedly discovered that he enjoyed the environment. Teo has always been the "good guy" in other people's eyes. That identity becomes both his greatest strength and greatest weakness. He has spent much of his life avoiding conflict and suppressing his own desires. His relationship with Sophie has given him stability, but he gradually realizes that stability isn't necessarily the same thing as fulfillment.
