Young Jared Grace has moved from New York to a new home at the Spiderwick Estate. Always misbehaving and having a hard time fitting in to the new place, he hears a strange sound which leads him into finding Arthur Spiderwick's Field Guide to the Fantastical World Around You. However, dark forces soon find out about the Fieldguide and are after it to unleash an even darker force to take over the world. Now it's up to Jared, his twin brother Simon, and his older sister Mallory as they find out more about the secrets of the field guide and discovering the magical world that their uncle Arthur Spiderwick has discovered before them. An adaptation of the novel series directed by Shawn Levy and the Duffer Brothers and produced by Netflix. Each book will be its own episode, following all three characters into the world of the Spiderwick Chronicles.
