Age 14, a young robotics genius and the leader of Big Hero 6. Primarily raised by his older brother Tadashi and their Aunt Cass since the death of their parents, Hiro used his gifted intellect to build robots and enter them into illegal bot fights. Hiro enrolled in the San Francisco Institute of Technology at Tadashi's suggestion, where he met Gogo, Wasabi, Honey Lemon, and Fred. After Tadashi’s sudden death in an accident that prompts Hiro to form Big Hero 6 to avenge his big brother and bring the culprit to justice, Hiro finally begins seeing how he can use his intelligence for the betterment of others.
