A Netflix Original Mini Series
Through her whole life, Alicia Berenson has been manipulated, emotionally abused, and hasn't been coping with her mental health that well. Then all of a sudden, she shoots her husband in the face 5 times. No one knows why she did. Other's believe that she's crazy. So she's been place in a institute where she doesn't say one word. It's not until a psychotherapist, Theo Faber, sits down and tries to figure out more about Alicia and her dark past, and see if he can get her talking. But exploring more about Alicia would bring more trouble for Theo. An adaptation of Alex Michaelides' best-selling novel of the same in the form of a Netflix Original Series. The series will explore more of Alicia's backstory in the form of flashbacks while having 2-3 episodes of their own.
