The Silent Draw is a 2027 American survival action thriller film written and directed by Taylor Sheridan. Produced by Bosque Ranch Productions and 101 Studios and distributed by Paramount Pictures, it is the first installment in the Silent Draw trilogy. The film stars an ensemble cast that consists of Paris Jackson, Chris Pratt, Robin Wright, Isaiah Washington, Norman Reedus, Zachary Levi, Isabel May, Jon Bernthal, Jeremy Renner, with Tim McGraw, and Harrison Ford. It follows a group of archers—some traditional, some modern—who set aside their differences and work together after being enlisted by the US Fish and Wildlife Service and corrupt conservationists against their will to investigate a series of violent crimes against the wildlife committed by illegal fur traders and animal traffickers. When they discover that that US Fish and Wildlife Service has no intention of seeking justice, the group goes AWOL and decides to solve the case independently. The Silent Draw premiered in Cheyenne on October 29, 2027, near the end of the first month of deer season, before receiving a theatrical release on November 9, 2027, during the middle month of deer season. The film became a critical and commercial success, grossing $729 million worldwide against a production budget of $179 million and a reported break-even point of $200 million. The film received praise from critics, audiences, and archery fans, who praised its authenticity, visual style, direction, writing, action, performances (particularly Jackson, May, Pratt, and McGraw), the score by Hans Zimmer and Dean Lewis, Montana setting, traditions, themes, the soundtrack inspiration, and emotional weight. A sequel is in development, with most of the cast including Jackson, Pratt, Washington, May, Reedus, Renner, and McGraw set to return.
