The Shining Remake
In “The Shining,” Jack Torrance, a writer and recovering alcoholic, accepts a new position as the off-season caretaker of the Overlook Hotel in the Colorado Rockies. He brings along his wife Wendy and young son Danny, who has psychic abilities known as “the shining.” The family becomes snowbound in the hotel due to a winter storm. Danny’s imaginary friend Tony warns him that the hotel is haunted. Jack’s sanity deteriorates under the influence of the hotel and its residents, and he becomes increasingly violent. Wendy and Danny face mortal danger as Jack becomes more and more unhinged
