Synopsis

On a cold Halloween night, six year old Michael Myers brutally murdered his 17-year-old sister, Judith. He was sentenced and locked away for 15 years. But on October 30, while being transferred for a court date, a 21-year-old Michael Myers steals a car and escapes Smith's Grove. He returns to his quiet hometown of Haddonfield, Illinois, where he looks for his next victims.

    • ringothedrummer @castingsinmyblood I'm going for this. The first film will be like the original, but with some changes. The tone will feel like an A24 horror movie, Laurie will have more depth, but all in the all, the first film is just Halloween '78, but with some changes to make it different enough. Not Rob Zombie different, but different in it's own way

    • castingsinmyblood @batsonjacksont Well, if there was something to take from RZ, I would say to have Loomis be more sympathetic towards Michael. Basically, he understands that he can't help Michael Myers, and that all he can do now is be Michael's jailer. Another thing: let's make Michael a liar. We don't know if he killed his family on purpose or if he was planning it for some time.
