Freelance graphic designer Noah grew up in a working-class Latino family in Los Angeles. His father worked construction while his mother held several jobs to support the family. He learned early that being a good man meant providing for the people he loved. He met Maya in high school and immediately became attached to her. Their relationship survived college and financial hardship, and Noah eventually proposed because he genuinely believed marriage was the natural next step. Unfortunately, his professional ambitions haven't developed as quickly as he hoped. He's accumulated debt trying to establish his design business, and Maya has quietly taken on more financial responsibility than he realizes.
