You only know a gift is poisoned when it's too late
James and Ursula are a happily married young couple struggling financially, however all that seems to be settled after the death of James' wealthy uncle, who makes him the sole heir. But to inherit all that, you have to go live in his beautiful, but quite old and scary, mansion outside of New York. We start, everything seems perfect but it turns out that James' uncle had a secret, to keep in his cellar. Our protagonists will realize that they are not the only ones living there and that their secret roommate is anything but friendly because of the treatment he received from his former landlord...
