Story Plot
The plot follows the construction of Kingsbridge Cathedral over decades, as the characters face obstacles, betrayals and moral dilemmas. It focuses on the relationships and rivalries between Tom Builder, Aliena, Philip and William Hamleigh, and how their lives intertwine against the backdrop of the construction of the cathedral and the tumultuous historical events of the time.
