Fan Casting The Pigman

Set in the 1960s, two teenagers who are sophomores at Franklin High befriend an old man named Mr. Pignati (the pigman) via what started out as just a prank phone call, but it soon becomes much more. Both Lorraine and John struggle with their home life and their relationship with their parents who don’t seem to understand them. The Pigman becomes a sort of escape for them, they go over to his house, the go to the zoo with him, and they play, something they never seem to be able to do in their own homes. The story is told from the perspective of Lorraine and John writing the memorial for Mr. Pignati, who has since passed.
