Fan Casting The Order of Saint Dumas

The origins of the organization that created and conditioned Jean-Paul Valley. The cult began when their founder had a falling out with the Knights Templar and incited a rebellion amongst them. The organization’s founder, “Saint” Dumas, was part of what lead to the Templars disbanding, and he fled along with his followers as the rest of the Templars were captured to be executed, or slaughtered on the spot. The group fled to Switzerland to hide from the Catholic Church, and they lived in seclusion for decades. Over the years they watched as the world became more and more sinful and so they decided to create a champion of their order. They trained a man named Stephen Forrest Lee to become The Dumas, named after their founder to kill all sinners and protect the children of the lord. He had been killed shortly after his inauguration. This lead many to doubt the order and create another fraction, and they sailed for America, discovering a city called Gotham, filled with sinners and so they create Azrael, Angel of Death. They would train and indoctrinate the candidates from their birth to create perfect, and loyal soldiers.
