Many years after Urgrund's separation into New Genesis and Apokolips, the two brothers responsible for the fall of the Old Gods, now known as Darkseid and Highfather, command both sides of an endless war, until the two leaders elaborate the Pact. What the New Gods did not expect was that the main parts of this agreement would not be content with their destinies.
