The mechaverse is a collection of films adapting different series about giant robots, such as the transformers, mobile suit gundam and neon genesis evangelion, following the stories of the autobots, decepticons, amuro ray, char aznable, shinji ikari, asuka langley soryu, and rei ayaname, the mechaverse then grows to include beast wars, darling in the franxx and voltron after an event in the third crossover film called the third impact reduces earth to a barren wasteland abandoned by humanity, where the maximals and predacons continue the cybertronian civil war, mobile cities called plantations housing the remnants of humanity travel the land raising children to fight monsters that come from underground, and the rest of the universe is under the protection of voltron
