  • misterwolf @nickienicks @castingsinmyblood @otsutsuki @mirandaandmariah @xxx_fallengalaxyxxx @samanthaharmon @thepinkmenace and @robertcooper Welcome to The Marksman: A Veteran's Child. Obviously not as good as the first, but good enough. As I said, it is dedicated to Brian Barczyk's memory. I hope you enjoy!

  • misterwolf Plot: One year after preventing the previous future war, Amara O'Connor is approached by a wounded massager from another future. Before dying, he explains that Amara is the world's only hope and must join the Resistance. His warning goes global, and the American country decides to believe him, using his equipment to build time-traveling technology.
  • misterwolf Wanting to honor the legacy of her late father Mason as an army ranger, Amara joins the military and volunteers to go to this new future. Joined by her mother Emilia, uncle and father figure Danny, godfather Ethan Breck and cousin Michael Wilson, Amara is given Mason's old black AVM sniper rifle by Roger McConnell, who wishes her godspeed and a fortune of luck before she is sent to the future with her family and the rest of the soldiers.
  • misterwolf In the future, Amara and her squad arrive in a war-torn Alaska, tasked with finding any documents that contain the answers to prevent this war from happening. They encounter the leader of the alien army, Prometheus, who kills most of the squad members save for Amara, Emilia, Danny, Ethan, and Michael. Prometheus is then forced to retreat when the surviving squad members are saved by a pick-up chopper and taken to the Resistance base with the documents they had found earlier.
  • misterwolf An older McConnell, who leads the Resistance again, explains that Prometheus was found by the Russian military many years ago, and had escaped a secret base within Russia and formed new alien armies with his unearthly powers. From the documents, he states that a small but extremely powerful bomb located in Mount Everest; he reveals that he chose Amara as humanity's last hope because she is the only soldier from the previous future with the knowledge of that bomb who is still alive, as she has been there prior to becoming a soldier herself and because her companions who were her comrades in the previous military had died. Amara agrees to find this bomb, but understands that it was destroyed in the future, and must go back to the present in order to find the bomb.
  • misterwolf Colin Breck, Ethan's older brother, sacrifices himself to kill Prometheus while McConnell leads Amara and the others down a tunnel, where they battle numerous rat-like monsters sent by the aliens, as well as giant spider-like creatures. One of them fatally injures McConnell, while Ichiro Takahashi is also killed. Finally arriving at a safe place, Amara manages to send her family and herself back to the present, where they reunite with Amara's younger, fourteen-year-old self. Amara and Emilia contemplate giving up, as they both somberly express that maybe the documents were wrong; fourteen-year-old Amara reveals that she was researching Mount Everest, and had found a strange green light in some photos. She then comforts both of them and encourages them to to finish their mission.
  • misterwolf Amara and Emilia are rejoined by Danny, Ethan, and Michael, along with Rourke Williams and the younger versions of Colin and McConnell. Secretary Ron Mortalli reluctantly gives them permission to enter both Asia and then Russia; arriving first at Mount Everest, Amara finds the bomb required to prevent the future from happening, and she then departs with the others to Russia, where the base Prometheus is said to be in is now long-abandoned. Although successful in blowing the base up and wiping out every alien eggs in the process to prevent Prometheus from rising them, he escapes, with Amara following close behind. After a long fight which Amara loses, she notices a green glow in the alien's lungs, and realizes that this is his weakness and the key to rendering him unable to use his powers. Fighting him again, she is overpowered once more, but this time, intentionally; she then shoots both of his lungs, sapping him of his powers, before shoving a grenade down his throat and then shooting it through him, allowing it to explode and kill him, finally ending what she set out to do and thus preventing the war from happening.
  • misterwolf In the aftermath, Amara tells her younger self about the hallucinations of Mason, having received them earlier during her mission. Before the end credits roll, she vows to continue her father's legacy.
