Ariel and her sisters late mother and Late wife to king Triton, queen of Atlantica but she is tragically killed by humans in the beginning of the story hence why her husband king Triton had a intense hatred for humans and forbidden his daughter Ariel into going into the surface, she only appears in Flash backs
