The film won the academy award for Best Picture, beating Both Godzilla Vs Spacegodzilla And Batman Vs Superman. Jay Barchul was nominated for best actor but lost to Clint Eastwood in Batman Vs Superman. The Lion King has been regarded by many people the best animated movie of all time.
