This spin off movie is about the untold origin story of the Mixels and the Nixels the Nixels featuring the life of an elemental leader named Flain about how he became the newest member of the master builders and save the LEGO Multiverse when Flain’s home universe started to collide with the LEGO Cinematic Universe which is the home universe of Emmet Brickowski thanks to the Nixel Revolution led by king Nixel a power hungry tyrant who wants to put the Mixels on the brink of extinction and conquer the LEGO Multiverse due to his hatred for the Mixels and everything in color many years ago the Maximum Mixel who is the benevolent creator of the Mixelverse and all its inhabitants wanted to figure out a way to increase the power of the Mixels in order to help the Mixels bring color diversity and mixing to their universe so the maximum mixel created the Cubit which is the one of the most powerful bricks in the LEGO Multiverse that allows the Mixels to combine their powers and protect their universe from king Nixel who hated the Maximum Mixel for what he has done and king Nixel wanted to steal the Cubit he believed that he could corrupt its power so he reshaped the LEGO Multiverse by forcing everyone to live in a universe where everything is in black and white in order to build his Multiversal Empire and become the king of the LEGO Multiverse Flain and the rest of the Mixels must team up with Emmet and his friends in order to revert the Nixel Revolution and save the LEGO Multiverse
