As an aging orphanage in rural England prepares to close its doors, only two teenagers remain behind: Alfie, who has lived in the system since he was three and was once returned by an adoptive family, and Caitlin, who arrived years later but never quite managed to be chosen over younger children. With most of the building already emptied and packed away, the vast orphanage grows quieter each day, leaving the two to wander through echoing corridors filled with fading memories of the children who once lived there.
