Erick is a father who is still trying to fully connect with his stepdaughter Leslie. Aware of the girl's appreciation for things from the past, he decides to take her to visit his friend Hugo's 'museum', which also has a special attraction involving an underground cave. But when something goes terribly wrong, and everyone finds themselves sucked into a prehistoric world, the trio must now count on each other, and with the help of a hermit with one screw loose in her head, if they want to get out of here alive.
