Long before the Justice League even existed, Kent Nelson has seen the world meet superheroes by acting alongside others as fabulous as he is. Today, the so-called Justice Society has the same as its leader, who in recent times saw the opportunity to recruit new members, alongside some old remnants of the group. But when an enemy of the former Justice Society resurfaces, Doctor Fate feels the time is right to act if they are to defeat the world's first metahuman once and for all. Inspired by the iconic titular group, 'The Justice Society' is a story about legacy, as some heroes old and new unite against a threat that has plagued the metahuman world in the past.
